The first game of the year brought us to the north edge of Prenzlauer Berg facing the SG prenzlauer Berg. Niels, the head of the team, is establishing a new team and wanted to play a friendly so we didn’t say no. They welcomed us friendly, provided us cabins and referee was kinda new but everyone starts once by 0, right?! Despite the fact that it was a very windy sunday, we managed to set up a good game with lots of chances resulting from the pressure we put from time to time on their defense. The first goal by Adonis resulted by back pass to the goalkeeper on the right side and Adonis managed to meet at the same time as the GK to fight for the ball, with the lucky ending for us…Adonis just scored into an empty goal. Eventhough the opponent came few times near our goal, their chances were mostly harmless and missed the goal. The 2-0 resulted from a long ball to Marian who passed it over to Pascal who had no problems to score from the penalty spot. After the halftime a handball for us was not given and our defense reacted late to controll the high ball to their striker who scored the 2-1. Nevertheless we managed to cheer up and score another goal to win the game 3-1. We thank the opponent for the fair game and hosting the game at their venue.
