Sadly it wasn’t to be quite the memorable even as we’d hoped due to the stadium no longer being available and the results not going our way.
We had a tough game against the BuliBären selection and our defence struggled to cope with their attack. We couldn’t build up the attacks the way we wanted to with passing from defense due to good pressure play from their players. We went behind twice, each time with Daniel equalising. Although they threatened our goal more often, we were slightly more clinical and a draw was probably a fair result.
Second game we went into full of confidence and played the game we wanted to play – staying solid in defence which gave us a platform to build up attacks, which we did well. Unfortunately we couldn’t make our possession count and make the breakthrough, with Ezequiel coming the closest by hitting the post. The last 10 minutes resulted in a siege on their goal with many numbers forward trying to break the resistance but in the end a last minute counter attack from the other team resulted in a harsh penalty, which their penalty taker scored.
