1st Matchday | 10th September
The kick-off of the new Bunte Liga season 2016/2017 was on September 10th and despite the fact that the new season started just after the previous ended, we found it difficult getting a matchday squad together at short notice as travel plans for most of the squad members were already made. Nevertheless we assembled a squad to play against Vollpfosten, Stehplatz Ermäßigt, Rentnerbobs and Members Athletic.

A second leg was played that day against all teams but sadly we forgot to write down the results. In total we gained 7 points for the matchday.
2nd Matchday | 1st October
Back with a squad of established players and everyone rested from their vacations and ready to give all for the new season, we started the 2nd matchday, the last regular matchday before the winter break. Deen made it back to Berlin from Israel and joined up with FCKP I to make his first competitive appearance for a long time. Also, a new addition to the team was the versatile midfielder Miguel from Valladolid in Spain. Surprisingly for us all, Matthias made his first appearance this year for the team!

Gaining 19pts in two matchdays, we climbed to placed 23rd out of 29 teams. The league resumes in March for the 3rd matchday.
