Facing a team one league above us, we knew that it would be a task and a half to master this 1st round cup game, and once we were down 3 goals after the hour mark, everyone on the sideline was convinced that FCKP were done and dusted!
However, if you have been following the latest posts about our matches in the league, you will be well aware, that our players never give up and fight until the last minute! And after scoring two quick retaliating goals close to the end, it was only the referee’s whistle that prevented us from scoring the 3-3, which would have meant extra time!
Despite the unfortunate loss, there are a lot of positives to be taken from this cup game and we look forward to our next match this Friday in the league against BSG Stadler.
