Hello everyone,

the Berlin Couchsurfing Football community invites everyone to its annual Winter Indoor Cup. Playing indoor besides our successfull four year lasting outdoor activity, these events become more and more popular. So for the third time we go indoor and there can’t be a better start to kick off the ’13 season with a challenging tournament.

If you are ready for the challenge and gain one of the gold medals, sign up!

We asked only for a participation fee of 5€ per person to cover the court costs. More updates about the event will follow soon…

If you can’t wait, we play our weekly sunday games as well outside due to the mild weather. Check out our dates and play times in our facebook group: http://www.facebook.com/groups/futbol.berlin/

We meet from 2:00pm onwards at the arena, please be on time. If you arrive past 2:30pm we give your spot away for those on the waiting list, no arguing because we need to start on time to not hustle through the event.

I offer a group ride for those who are not familliar with Berlin that much. We meet at 1:15pm at the tram station (tv tower side) at Alexanderplatz and take the tram M4 towards the station “Stadion Buschallee”. You can also join our Tram at S-Bahn station “Greifswalderstrasse”, whcih is the circle line. Our train departs there at 13:38pm. From the tram station you can walk within 5min to the quiet hidden arena (see map).

Danke.

These are the names which fill the 40 starting spots for the tournament; if you come late your place will re replaced by other players who arrived on time.

ABOUT FCKP

FC Kickers Pufendorfer Berlin e.V. is an amateur football team with its base in Berlin, Germany.

Founded by CouchSurfers over ten years ago, the core values of the team have been inclusion and fair play from the very beginning. We started organising regular football meet-ups, where anyone could join and recruited new players for the team from these games.

We have been meeting up since summer 2008 to have regular games of football at the “Boltzplatz” in the Pufendorfstraße, which is also where the team name comes from.

On 21st January 2017 we founded the club “FC Kickers Pufendorfer Berlin e.V.” and on 18th April 2017 we were officially entitled by the German law to carry the name.
