Joining the last matchday with a 2 point advantage in the table, we didn’t manage to profit from it. As usually we played a solid defense work but failed to score in the front. The first game against LeBowski was rather a messing in the midfield without goal chances on both sides…a warm up kick 🙂
The second match was the most important one, the Looney Toons were only two points behind us and our only competitor for the last match day. It was a boring game with struggling defense of us and as the result we got a goal against us after a corner which was volley’d by one of their strikes and went through Kyle’s legs so that Marian had no chance to react. After a poor offense in the first two games we turned tables and Marian went out to play striker, Matthias took care of the goal. We scored hence in the 3rd game but got an unlucky goal resulting a long ball into the goalkeeper area where 4 defendes of us didnt manage to clear the ball so the only striker droped it into the net. City Slickers same thing, we had 3-4 chances (one crossbar shot, one post shot) and their attacks were easily scored. The last two games Marian went back to take care of the goal and stability was given by a good defense of Willem, Ramiro, Tim and Daniel. Meanwhile in the front Tim could score two goals and Ramiro and Kyle each one. All in all it was a good day and we missed the trophy by one single point.

Report FC Kickers Pufendorfer II
Line up: James, Clement, Dragos, Christian, Adonis, Cuong
It was not only the final match day of the season for FCKP II, but also the first match day in the 3rd league after securing promotion in the previous match day. Unfortunately, things didn’t start well. Despite being only 7 people, we decided to play anyway, but we got some bad news as our goalkeeper Simon got food poisoning and had to cancel at the last minute.
Without being able to find a replacement in time, we started with six, somehow managing to win our first match against a team of 7! After losing our second game 4-0, Robert from FC Koni was luckily able to fill in and did an excellent job. Thanks a lot!
The match day turned out to be a great success and we played some really nice football. We were unlucky not to score more than 5 goals (and of course could have avoided conceding some easy goals), winning 3, drawing 2 and losing 3 matches.
The goals came from Clement (x2), Chris and Adonis, with Dragos also scoring not only his first, but what has to be the goal of the season, as he picked the ball up from far out and unleashed a first time shot which went crashing in off the post. Chris almost scored a great goal too after beating half of the other team after picking up the ball in his own half, but unfortunately a defender was back to block the shot on the line.
Everyone put in a great performance and we can be very proud of their efforts!
