As every year, the Bunte Liga outdoor season kicks off with the Cup Qualifiers. This year we were in a difficult group, facing both last years cup winners and the reigning Bunte Liga champions.
Unfortunately, we didn’t get off to the start we had hoped for, losing the first three games and drawing the fourth. However, after a few crucial tactical changes we were able to collect our first three points of the day in the fifth game against the defending cup winners. Our good form continued with another win in the sixth game, but then lack of concentration lost us the seventh. Our last game was against the strongest team of the day which we managed to win with a last second goal.
Overall it was a good performance by the whole team, despite our disappointing start. We ended up in fourth position, just one place away from qualifying for the finals.
