17.06.2022 Kreisliga A St.2 KF FZ | Rischtijer FC : FC Kickers Pufendorfer Berlin

On Friday, FCKP travelled all the way to Spandau to face Rischtijer FC, who are currently top of the table. Having scored more than 150 goals in 24 games compared to our 41 goals, we knew that this would be a tough nut to crack, even though we had our “secret weapon” 𝗔𝗗𝗢𝗡𝗜𝗦 (visiting from Vienna, Austria), back on the pitch.

Completely ignoring the stats, however, our team had a great start to the game – Clement scoring after only 11 minutes – and we were able to dominate the run of play until our opponent got one back after 20 minutes. Rischtijer FC then had a very strong offensive phase and managed to score another 3 goals until the Ref blew his whistle for the halftime break.

The second half started like the first half ended, with our opponent giving our defenders a hard time and managing to score 3 more goals to make the scoreline 7-1. In true Pufendorfer fashion, though, we didn’t give up, fought back and were able to score twice (Johannes, Clement) in the dying minutes of the game. End result 7-3.

Over all, it was a great performance by our team, especially considering our opponent, and with unbroken team spirit, we are very much motivated and looking forward to the last game of the season vs Siemensstadt.
